After suggestion from @sylvchev we can set up a global settings configuration file. Possible settings to include are:

  • country_iso_code for carbon emissions estimation
  • default device
  • etc.

Feel free to add more suggestions that could be set as global!

Probably the pytorch preferred_linalg_library, as mentionned in #9 .

Also, I suggest that we inspire from the solution of CodeCarbon to manage those global configurations

Could we add also the carbon footprint evaluation lib to avoid putting codecarbon as hard dependency? Links to #16
