🥅 Initiative: Create a dashboard for open source organizations

Motivation 🏁

As the technical lead for an open-source organization, I have found managing multiple software repositories and informing myself of all the events occurring throughout the various platforms I'm on.

At the moment, if I'd like an overview of the analytics, discussions, for all my repositories, I have to click through multiple web pages and parse the valuable information myself.

If I get an insight from a high-level look at the repositories and I want to create an issue, I'll have to once again navigate to the repo's page and create the issue.

I propose creating a dashboard to help open-source organization teams get relevant information and act quickly.

Implementation Details 🛠️

Here are some early ideas I have:

• I should be able to view the project boards, analytics, issues, and PRs for all/pinned repositories
• I should be able to create an issue without having to make multiple clicks
• I should be able to view a feed of the community discussions
• I should have relevant notifications enter my feed
