How to stop teleport agent/service

Hello, i would like to know if there is a way to stop the teleport service, i have tried service teleport stop but the service doesnt recognize that command, is there a way to stop it without kill ?

@icanche please provide how you configured it. If this was a systemd on a ubuntu system then sudo service teleport stop should work.
