High Availability Proxy with haproxy - unintended session disconnect

So I got our Teleport auth and proxies behind a load balancer and that seems to have really been great on the server load but I'm seeing an unintended side effect.

When starting a session, if I leave the session inactive for a bit I'll suddenly get disconnected. We have our max timeouts in Teleport set for 12 hours and the only difference here is adding the load balancer. Is there a suggested configuration option that I should be adjusting?

I'm using haproxy in tcp mode,
the auth is mode tcp
the proxy is mode tcp but also set to balance roundrobin

Everything else is at their defaults

timeout connect 5000
timeout client 50000
timeout server 50000

I used this doc and set it almost exactly as here https://goteleport.com/learn/deploying-self-hosted-ha-teleport-on-prem/

One thing to add, when in tsh I get "wait: remote command exited without exit status or exit signal"
It was approximately 50 seconds later.

Sorry, I should have timed it prior to posting. It was the HAProxy defaults

50000ms is 50 seconds.
