Over on #126 we mention that Stripe has now moved into marketplaces. Does Stripe have sufficient international marketplace support that we should consider switching back (#137) to them?

Stripe seems to be slightly ahead of Balanced on international payments, but AFAICT they don't support payouts to non-US bank accounts yet. From https://stripe.com/docs/tutorials/sending-transfers:

(This is currently only available for US Stripe accounts sending funds to third-party US bank accounts or US Visa or MasterCard debit cards that aren't prepaid.)
