See: https://www.gittip.com/sferik/

I changed my Venmo user name from "erik-michaels-ober" to "sferik" and now the link to my Venmo profile on Gittip is broken.

Related: I changed my Bountysource profile picture but Gittip still shows the old picture.

There seems to be no way to "refresh" or disconnect/reconnect once a connection has been made.

The ability to disconnect is also import for users who no longer want their profile to link out to a particular account or delete an account at one of the third-party sites.

I will pay a $150 bounty on this issue if it’s fixed within a month.

There already are tickets for these issues: #639 for account disconnect, #900 for periodic update of user info. Once I have completed my work on #1369 these problems will be easier to fix.

Sorry for the dupe. Should I close this issue?

@bountysource Is there a good way to transfer my bounty to a different issue?

Yes, I guess you should close.

@Changaco I’m just not sure what implications that will have for Bountysource. Do you mind if I leave it open until I figure out how to transfer the bounty to the other issue?

It should be fine to leave it open if it's to avoid problems with the bounty.

@sferik Maybe you can revoke your bounty and create a new one to #639 an then close this issue.

@sim6 I’m not sure it’s possible to revoke a bounty once it’s been set but I will make sure whoever resolves #639 gets credit for resolving this issue.
