As we address resolving security issues in #69 we should look at upgrading all of the dependencies in this repo to the latest versions, this includes the Angular packages which will bring breaking changes.

There is a lot of good guides out there on how to go about upgrading from angular 5 -> 7, check out: https://update.angular.io/
