Not getting logged out from other opened tabs.

Let's say I logged into the application and opened it in other tabs as well. I noticed that whenever I logout from any of the tabs, I can still make api requests or perform any sort of actions from other opened tabs.

Don't you think once a user logged out form the application he shouldn't be able to make any api requests?
It would be better if they are redirected to the login page once they logout from any of the tabs.
