[ x] This is a Launcher issue. (Usually if you can reproduce it with a fresh instance)

Describe the bug
Downloading game files is really slow

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Use Vanilla OS
Use appimage for GDLauncher
download a curseforge modpack
Downloads incredibly slow

Expected behavior
Download at a reasonable speed, which it was a few versions ago.

Operating System:

OS: Vanilla OS (Ubuntu 22.10 based)
Launcher Version: Current
Java Version: Default
Minecraft Version: 1.19.2
Mod Loader: Fabric
