Scroll handling on mobile is laggy

I made a quick video showing the issue. Repainting on scroll lags significantly behind the user interaction. If I place the content directly into a div and remove core-animated-pages then I do not have this issue.

If you're wondering, I removed the transition animation to ensure that this was not causing the lagging.

FYI: I did some testing and this issue occurs with core-pages also.

+1, bug present in chrome for android 5.0.2.

could be chrome-specific; no issues with the native android browser.

@davej - did you work this out?

update: I removed a paper-progress element I had on the page and now it's fixed.
