This is a sample for hive-site.xml configuration file. Any thriftserver
config parameters that are related to the Metastore can be set here.
For example, the following is a minimal set for using a remote database instead
of the default embedded Derby. When using Bitnami docker images, this file needs
to be mounted in the default conf dir at /opt/bitnami/spark/conf/hive-site.xml
Note that extra driver jars need to be supplied to Spark nodes as well, e.g.,
by placing them in the /opt/bitnami/spark/jars/ directory.
