This is the holy grail. So far the outlines used have been 'hard coded' so to speak. As well as being relative to a given window/canvas, SVG paths can also be relative to each other. Therefore it should be possible to construct entire shorthand words from scratch. First you disemvowel a given word (#7), then you connect the outlines - provided you have a vast library of individual letters and sounds (and all the variations they have).
Getting this to work reliably would be a big old challenge given the hierarchy of Teeline letters. Each word would have to be assessed for its dominant letter and the rest of the outline would have to be relative to that.
Getting this working would open the door to some fantastic educational experiences - passages being written out at the same time they're being read (#5), highlighting the different pieces of outlines, and so on.
