Automatically choose refs when there are multiple

Hi, thanks a lot for creating this module.

I'm trying to install org.freedesktop.Platform.VulkanLayer.MangoHud like this in my home.nix:

  services.flatpak.update.auto.enable = true;
  services.flatpak.uninstallUnmanaged = false;
  services.flatpak.packages = [
    "com.valvesoftware.Steam"
    "org.freedesktop.Platform.VulkanLayer.MangoHud"
  ];

I got this logs from flatpak-managed-install.service when rebuilding:

It works if I use "org.freedesktop.Platform.VulkanLayer.MangoHud/x86_64/24.08" instead in my home.nix.

The problem is that in order to know which refs I should use, I need to install com.valvesoftware.Steam first, then run flatpak list:

The ref that I should use is the branch of org.freedesktop.Platform.

Is it possible to do this automatically ?

That's currently the expected way to go, but I agree it's pretty annoying UX.

Is it possible to do this automatically ?

Unfortunately, there's no obvious way to automatically select a ref non-interactively. The flatpak install command has a -y option to always answer "yes" when prompted, but this doesn't work for multiple selections.

What I’d recommend is listing the available refs with:

flatpak remote-ls --user flathub --runtime | grep org.freedesktop.Platform.VulkanLayer.MangoHud

which gives :

MangoHud sourcecode	org.freedesktop.Platform.VulkanLayer.MangoHud.Sources		stable
MangoHud	org.freedesktop.Platform.VulkanLayer.MangoHud	0.6.8	21.08
MangoHud	org.freedesktop.Platform.VulkanLayer.MangoHud	0.7.0	22.08
MangoHud	org.freedesktop.Platform.VulkanLayer.MangoHud	0.7.2	23.08

and then declare the one to install in services.flatpak.packages , like you currently do.
