Change an element type by context menu

I have an element in the hierarchy viewer and I wanted to change it from VBox to a GridPane or any other container. I know I could wrap it in the container and just delete the children, but I would also lost any information like width, height or style classes. So it would be an improvement to change an element with an entry in the context menu:
