Contribution Query

Hi,

I am currently using this library in a project and I liked it. There are a few things I'd like to contribute with but I don't know how to do it (this would be my first time contributing to a project).

I forked, cloned and branched out but now I would like to know how to use the library locally. I tried a few things and looked up online; I tried using the demo.js folder in demos/node/ and creating my own NodeJs and importing the library there but got errors everywhere. I would appreciate it if someone could pinpoint where to start.
