Why Are Many Crops Missing in LUT Water Deficit/Net Irrigation Requirement Outputs on the GAEZ Web Platform? #146

Hello GAEZ team,

I am using the GAEZ web platform to analyze LUT (Land Utilization Type) Water Deficit/Net Irrigation Requirement during Crop Cycle under Current Cropland. However, I noticed that the output data is missing for many crops, with only a subset of crops being available.

I would like to understand the possible reasons for this issue. Specifically:

Does the missing data indicate that certain crops are not simulated under specific scenarios, such as current cropland?
Are there regional or climatic constraints that exclude certain crops from the analysis?
Could this be related to how crops are categorized or prioritized on the GAEZ web platform?
Are there known limitations in the input data (e.g., soil, climate, or management practices) for some crops that might result in missing results?

In particular, I would like to know how to obtain the Water Deficit/Net Irrigation Requirement for these missing crops (e.g. maize) if it is not available under the current settings.
