Bug summary

When running configs like CircleCI-Public/blog-dynamic-config-examples, there's sometimes an error like:

Error: 
failed to create runner binary: Error response from daemon: error while creating mount source path '/host_mnt/private/tmp/local-ci/volume/blog-dynamic-config-examples': mkdir /host_mnt/private/tmp/local-ci/volume: no such file or directory

Though of course it's too extreme, and there needs to be a better fix.
