New tests directory was included in function_refactor branch. A test data set and script is included. The script needs improvements to integrate with GH actions. We could create a GH action that tests and runs the analyses when PR and merges to main branch occur. This is mainly to make sure ExtractCore is working as intended and the math is mathing.
