In Chrome it seems to be working fine. In Firefox (where I preview things by using "Open PDF in Preview" on my Mac) the following seem to be wrong:

  • the breadcrumb is looking very sad because it's alone on the first page
  • the second page is fine, but everything that should go on the next pages is cut off, with an empty thir page to make up for it

This appears to be a well-documented issue with printing in Firefox. See bug 129941 on Bugzilla. (This was first reported 17 years ago, and, to this day, continues to have complaints!) See also the StackOverflow question "Firefox printing 1st page and links therein.

For what it is worth, I tried the suggestions on the StackOverflow question and those on this blog post, but nothing worked.

Oh snap... I think I'll have a go at the suggested solutions myself too, because this is really annoying, but if those doesn't work, we'll just have to advice people to not use Firefox to print. There's only so much we can do.

Going for the "don't use Firefox if you want to print it" approach. Leaving it open, but removing it from the milestone.
