Configuring the Zip and Download Tree size limit #3
Comments
There are 2 size limits, one for anonymous (non-logged in) users, one for logged in users. The defaults are 4GB and 8GB respectively. These can be overwritten by setting the RAMADDA properties: ramadda.zip.registered.maxsizemb=160000 I will amend the docs -Jeff |
btw - I am always curious about how people are using RAMADDA. Care to share? |
Thanks for the very prompt answer. We use RAMADDA to serve datasets published by the UK Polar Data Centre (see https://ramadda.data.bas.ac.uk/) - you've probably had questions from some of my colleagues in the past. |
btw - I notice you are running a 5 year old version of RAMADDA-

You might want to upgrade sometime to the latest-

The RAMADDA user guide suggests that there are size limits in place ('some number of GB') when using the Zip and Download Tree export option. What is the default size limit and can the limit be configured on the admin side?
