When using go install github.com/genuinetools/reg@latest with go 1.18, it five the following error:

go: downloading github.com/genuinetools/reg v0.16.1
go: github.com/genuinetools/reg@latest (in github.com/genuinetools/[email protected]):
	The go.mod file for the module providing named packages contains one or
	more replace directives. It must not contain directives that would cause
	it to be interpreted differently than if it were the main module.

Clone the project and run go install . from the root.
