The first step of any solution is proving there is a need. My basic thesis is, the world needs a common standard notation to query APIs to help API consumers read information from the API. I do not propose to standardize the response, programming language, or entities. My proposal is to standardize a notation or string or multiple strings as a filter(s) to query data.
If you have written API consumer code, do you feel standardizing the queries would be beneficial?
