Marcin:

For the Z rods - the rods actually go only half way into the Z pieces, so that the Spool Holder Rods are inserted into the Z axis motor pieces

Me:

This is trickier as everything is coded to assume Rod Length equals Axis Length.

Marcin:

You can leave it as is for now, knowing that we understand that we need to shorten the rods by a fixed, well-defined amount.

Marcin:

The Z rod goes only halfway into the Z motor piece - see writing in blue . Thus, the Z rod is actually shorter than the 3D Printer Workbench implies

Me:

We could add an extra property to independently control Rod Length from Axis Length.

Marcin:

That would be useful. Would it be practical for you to add another parameter - and that is the actual overall axis length - once the axes are inserted into the design?

NOTE: Planning on addressing this with #25. However this enhancement would still be useful for realism of the CAD model.
