Difference between 'Motion Detection Type: Pet' and 'Pet Detection'-Switch

So I was setting up the eufy-security integration and my Eufy C22 Solo Cam. Works mostly fine so far. However I was stumbling across the 'Motion Detection Type' Select Entity and the 'Pet Detection' Switch Entity. The former I can see as a similar option in the app. But I don't get what the 'Pet Detection' Switch Entity exactly does and why it is there, since the Select Entity can also be set to 'Pet'. Can anyone enlighten me? Thank you!
