The dev tooling crashes upon save and uses Exhibit, which AFAICT is unsupported at this point. See also https://github.com/Financial-Times/ig-images-frontend/issues/5

It's also totally unnecessary; like, this is all fully NodeJS-based, we don't even need Babel in a NodeJS 8+ world.
