Announcing InvenioRDM Starter Beta

The first public release of InvenioRDM Starter was announced yesterday. A new documentation website at https://starter.front-matter.io was also launced.

Hi,

Thank you. The setup is quiter easy. But Im having an error "Internal Server Error" when connecting to https:\localhost. I can send full logs but here is a sample:

This sounds like an issue related to the database, which is not changed in Invenio-rdm-starter from the default Invenio-rdm database. Without context it is difficult to say what is going on, but this sounds like a generic invenio-rdm problem.

Thanks for replay, I just followed the InvenioRDM Starter instructions. https://github.com/front-matter/invenio-rdm-starter/pkgs/container/invenio-rdm-starter. From your reply this should be checked by Invenio developers?

I was able to reproduce the error, and it is caused by outdated documentation. The setup scripts no longer runs by default as had caused too many issues with already existing databases. I will update the documentation, in the meantime run the setup script in a running invenio-rdm-starter container (after docker compose up): docker exec -it invenio-rdm-starter-worker-1 setup.sh
