It seems that openthesaurus.de does some sort of canonicalizing of words somewhere (i.e. plural to singular, first person, present tense etc).
It looks as if jWordSplitter library has something to do with this.
We will have to investigate how this whole system works and perhaps implement the corresponding rules for Greek language.
