There is only a extremely small Icon in the tray for Firefox in Kubuntu 16.04 with Firetray 0.6.1, Thunderbird works just fine.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks,

Hi @JPRuehmann, unfortunately I cannot reproduce the issue on Kubuntu 15.10 (Plasma updated to 5.5.4), unfortunately I have another icon related issue – the icon sizes are fine, but the new message counter is not visible (there is the Thunderbird icon displayed if there is no new message and a system icon – envelope – displayed otherwise, but there is no number on top of it).

The issues might be related to "known bugs" mentioned in release notes.

What is making me wondering is that it works for Thunderbird perfectly well but for Firefox not.
Thanks,

I installed the extension even in Firefox and it works fine on Kubuntu 15.10 updated via Kubuntu backports. I am sorry I have no idea what is wrong, but I can provide more info if you need it.

In Kubuntu 14.04 LTS I had'nt this problem, but since it works in thunderbird I don't think that the Problem is on the side of Kubuntu. Maybe a Problim in Firefox.

I have the same issue with Thunderbird on KDE neon. However, somehow if I make the tray icon disappear and then reappear (many options can allow the icon to be hidden under some conditions), the icon becomes normal. So currently my workaround is simply checking the option "show tray icon only if a window is hidden".
