Sea of Thieves requires the player to sign into an Xbox Live account before they can play. It does this by opening a windows with an embedded login page to use for signing in. When I enter my user info and press the sign in button, the game crashes as the login window closes. It only does this when mangohud is enabled. So perhaps mangohud somehow messes with the embedded browser when it is trying to close...?
