I have two monitors and when the PC boots the second monitor turns on first and shows the bootloader, after the OS loads the first monitor powers on and it becomes the primary due to the KDE settings, now when I try to capture a screenshot on any monitor the GUI appears on the second one but the screen to capture will always be the first primary monitor regardless if I press the shortcut to take a screenshot on the primary or the secondary monitor.
I remember didn't have this issue brefoe and it seems like an update broke this, I have tested with both wayland and xorg.
Edit:
There is another issue related to this: #3811
Same here, on Plasma + Wayland. I can capture Full Screen and that will capture the primary and the secondary monitors, but I can't make a selection on the second monitor.
