Firebase Auth - Signin with Apple on Android does not give displayName and email

I used sign in with apple plugin instead of firebase. Then, I created a user with firebase using apple provider. Then, using the displayname and email recevied from sign_in_with_apple, I updated the user's profile from Flutter. Then all is done and well.

NOTE: Do handle the FirebaseAuthException, DioError and any other custom error made by self like AppException or just Exception by yourself. This only works on Apple ecosystem. You can try it on Android, but sign_in_with_apple must be setup properly. But, my general assumption is that I do not need apple login in android.

This worked well for me thanks for the help man! I am just having an issue that if a user signs in with an email that is the same as his gmail account he is still allowed through

@UzayrB you are allowing firebase to create different accounts per each provider. You can limit that in the firebase console. However, when you limit that, you'll face account linking issues for each provider once you have logged in with one provider and you try to login with another provider with the same email.

For this case, you can check account linking feature of firebase. You'll have appropriate firebase api calls in flutter for that as well in firebase_auth package.

I know I'm aware but I use it on both ios and android.
I wanted to use firebase provider because the plugin used is difficult on android.

Both appleCredential.givenName and appleCredential.familyName return null.

Check if apple_sign_in package gives you those details or not. The information should be given there. You then use the token from that to signin using firebase_auth using apple id token.
