Thanks for reporting this issue, @ekalosak. Taking a look into the issue you filed in firebase-functions-python repository. I’m able to reproduce the error you mentioned where using firebase-tools v12.5.4 raises an error. However, as you mentioned, the issue does not occur when downgrading to firebase-tools v12.5.3.

That said, I’ll notify our engineering team about this so that they can take a look, and I’ll be marking this as reproducible.
