Bug: Preview feature often does not work or lead to crash (especially on PDFs)

Description

Having the switch set from Details to Preview will often cause Files to crash... no error, nothing, just bang and its gone.

Steps To Reproduce

Start Files
Enable Preview
Select A File
Swear

Files Version

3.9.2.0

Windows Version

10.0.26100.0

User ID

86afa99b-9824-4b0a-9046-ad92ba60f24e

Log File

debug.log

Hi Josh, not just but is typically these are the files   I mostly want to preview. I actually have had different PDF viewers as default over the past weeks: Wondershare PDFelement PDFgear ABBY Finereader Otherwise - thinking aloud - there may be issues with viewers that are competing, namely: • Lookeen 2025 (you can preview found files) • Quicklook (see https://youtu.be/RDkq_uuuJX0) Let me know if you have other questions. After relooking at the log it seem to not show an error related to the crash, can you reproduce this issue then type Event Viewer into the Windows start menu search > Click Windows logs > Click Application > Screenshot the first error (It will show Application Error under the source column and this symbol at the start) that have Files.exe shown on the first line > Send this on GitHub (Email attachments don't work)

Seems to work fine with files preview.
Had no crashes with the info panel.
