Project Summary

Mantle Gateway is a distributed storage and cybersecurity solution designed to enhance data resilience and security on the Filecoin network. By leveraging Mantle's Secure Distributed Storage (SDS) and Filecoin's decentralized infrastructure, we provide an enterprise-grade solution that ensures immutability, redundancy, and ransomware protection for critical data. Our integration allows enterprises to store fragmented, immutable data across multiple nodes, mitigating single points of failure while maintaining data sovereignty. Mantle Gateway protects against ransomware, data corruption, and regulatory compliance risks, making Filecoin more attractive for businesses needing high-performance, secure, and scalable storage solutions.

Impact

Mantle Gateway integrates Filecoin’s decentralized storage network as a core infrastructure component for secure and scalable data storage. Specifically, we:
[ ]Leverage Filecoin for long-term storage of fragmented data: Mantle SDS splits data into small, cryptographically meaningless fragments and distributes them across Filecoin’s storage network.
[ ]Ensure immutability and verifiability: Filecoin’s content-addressable storage combined with Mantle’s fragmentation process prevents unauthorized modifications and ensures tamper-proof storage.
[ ]Enable enterprise-grade backup and disaster recovery: By integrating Filecoin with Mantle SDS and partners like Zerto, we provide ransomware-proof, immutable backup solutions for enterprises.
[ ]Reduce storage costs and enhance scalability: Mantle SDS optimizes Filecoin’s decentralized network, reducing storage redundancy without compromising resilience.

Outcomes

[ ]The grant will accelerate Mantle Gateway’s integration with Filecoin by:
[ ]Developing seamless API compatibility between Mantle SDS and Filecoin.
[ ]Building and testing enterprise use cases for secure, immutable backups using Filecoin.
[ ]Enhancing telemetry reporting to optimize storage efficiency and failure recovery mechanisms.
[ ]Executing pilot deployments with enterprise partners to demonstrate real-world adoption of Filecoin-based decentralized storage.

Adoption, Reach, and Growth Strategies

**High-Profile Partnerships: **
Veeam Partnership: Signed a joint market offering with Veeam (global leader in backup software with $1.7B ARR). Co-branded product launches are planned for 2025, starting with events in Quebec and Ontario in March.
Diagnos: We had a big win with public company Diagnos (CSE:AVX). They are in the Healthcare sector and analyze high-definition retina photos. Their storage and archival are now with Mantle. This opportunity represents 40K ARR today and is expected to grow to 180K over the next 3 years.
French Provincial Government - GRAND-EST region:
We are building out a sovereign cloud with the French provincial government with a commitment of 80,0000 Euros allocated to Mantle. The project is now expected to start in Q2 2025 with the same amount of €600,000 in three phases.

Our team consists of 3 full-stack developers and one ecosystem lead, with over 35 years of combined experience in blockchain, cybersecurity and infrastructure. The team behind Mantle Technology consists of experienced full stack developers, blockchain experts, and cybersecurity specialists. Our team has successfully built various blockchain-based solutions, including open-source SDKs and already working integrations with Ethereum and Bitcoin among others and Mantle Technology has established clients and partners.

Pascal is a serial entrepreneur and strategist who can count three successful exits in the Blockchain space between 2012 and today. Active in the Bitcoin space since 2011, Pascal has been contributing to various project as a founder, investor or advisor.

Most recently, he participated in the IPO of Canada’s first publicly traded NFT company Gamelancer (CSE:GMNG) which started trading in May 2021.

Between 2016 and 2018, Pascal has contributed to Ernst & Young's Blockchain Advisory Practice and he is known to promote thought leadership through conferences and media articles.
