By mistake, I have removed a needed widget from the top panel. Whenever I try to add it back, the PC freezes for a moment and after some time the wallpaper disappears, including the panel and the edit mode.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Make the overall layout similar to Ubuntu.
Remove the universal buttons from the top panel.
Enter edit mode to add the buttons back.
Click on "Add Widgets".
Expected behaviour:
The widgets menu should open, letting me to choose the widget i want.
