My Youtube RSS feeds stopped updating over the weekend. I found three examples of feeds that have new entries which Feedbin isn't recognizing. The Gist is at https://gist.github.com/anonymous/8ececa6cfd7c825955bae9b5f171d7eb

I'd appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks.

I just noticed this myself. I have seen no updates since yesterday. The feeds themselves seem alright.

Is this still an issue? I looked at the Bushka feed and it appears to be up-to-date. Maybe a transient thing?

I just tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to the feed, and it only shows me the entries older than 3 days.

Is this still an issue?

Definitely still an issue here. Just logged in to check and still non of my YouTube feeds have been updated. Just three examples of reliably constant output YouTube channels:

  1. BuzzFeedBlue, https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCBUVGPsJzc1U8SECMgBaMFw, Feedbin shows the last update to be February 4, 2017 (What Deadly Diseases Look Like On Your Body). Since then there has been 1 new video, as they are on a 1-per-day schedule.
  2. Kripparrian, https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCeBMccz-PDZf6OB4aV6a3eA, Feedbin shows the last update to be February 4, 2017 (Kripp & the Giant Snake). Since then there have been 3 new videos, published on a 2-per-day schedule.
  3. Arumba, https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCISPcad-6svNxgViVr_syvA, Feedbin shows the last update to be February 5, 2017 (Let's Play SPAZ2 Episode 17). Since then there have been 12 new videos.

In the case of the last one we'll soon get to the point where it will be to late for Feedbin to catch up, as YouTube feeds only show the last 15 videos for a channel.

Alright I see the issue now. Looks like Google is mistakenly blocking Feedbin's refreshing servers.

We're sorry...
... but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.
See Google Help for more information.

Obviously Feedbin is sending automated queries, that's kind of the point of RSS… 😒

I'll try sending an email to support

I think all my feeds updated now. Thanks. Hopefully they won't block them again.

I can confirm that it looks like all the feeds have been crawled again. In my case, only one of them shows 15 new items, which means I am going to have to check that one by hand for missed videos.

Happening again.

For me as well. The Bushka and TrumpSC feeds in the original Gist are missing the newest episodes.

Same for me

I can confirm that all feeds I mentioned before contain entries that have not been picked up by Feedbin.

This seems to be a problem with YouTube itself. Feedly and some other readers are also having issues updating some feeds.

Another refresh made it through. No idea if the problem is solved longer term.

I brought up some new refreshing servers, so they have new IP addresses. Good chance they'll get blocked again once Google's over-zealous rate limiter kicks in.
