I have tried using the email feature with mailing lists, which granted, might not be an intended use of the feature. I currently have these issues:
Each sender has it's own entry in the "Feeds" section in the "Settings". Each can be "unsubscribed" from individually. When a sender is unsubscribed from, emails form that sender no longer appear. Is that all it does? Hide those emails? And it seems irreversible?
In my case, I think that getting an email from a server is required in order for me to unsubscribe from the mailing list. This is now no longer possible.
I still get emails from other senders to the same mailing list, but unsubscribing from the list has now become impossible.
Another concern I had with the intended use is that marketing email addresses eventually become spam fodder.
It would be nice to issue "one-time addresses" so that it would become immediately apparent who leaked my address to whom, as well as being able to revoke specific providers access to my "inbox" without having to toss out every other legit provider.

I'm currently having trouble unsubscribing from this list: https://lists.swift.org/mailman/listinfo/swift-evolution-announce. Any suggestions on how I could accomplish that, given that I don't see any emails from the register/un-register address anymore?
