How about introducing support for generation of .svg images of Sankey diagrams?

Cheers,
André

Hi @GeoMicroSoares . The current version has a 'Save network' button, that saves the Sankey in it's own html file. I tried to add SVG download support, but the styles wouldn't be exported. Same with the SVG crowbar bookmarklet (http://nytimes.github.io/svg-crowbar/). I'll look into it again in time.

Hey @fbreitwieser, thanks for the reply.
I'd add that a control over the position of the 'numbers above nodes' feature would be helpful as well!
Thanks and keep up the good work!

As this hasn't been closed I'd also add that an option to just directly extract a high-res .png image out of the Sample section could compensate for the lack of .svg extraction support.

Also, don't like the Configure Sankey button - closes up every time we choose an option.

Thanks again!

First off, thanks for producing pavian, it's the best software for visualising metagenomic data I've come across to date.

I too have been looking for ways to export the sankey diagrams to svg, and found a workaround which I'm posting here in the hopes that it can help someone else.

this website: http://www.hiqpdf.com/demo/ConvertHtmlToSvg.aspx
can convert html code to svg graphics, simply paste the sankey html code into the text box and you're good to go, worked like a charm for me.

All the best,

Jonny

It definitely helped many people out there. Thanks, mate.

Cheers.
