Hi,

There is currently no alternative to this app (that I am aware of) that supports iPad use too. I'd love to be able to middle-click scroll whilst using my iPad with an external mouse.

Would it be possible to make this an extension usable on Safari for iPadOS?

I'll give it a try.
There were some issues last time I've tried with my other addon but since then I've upgraded to Manifest V3 so that may fix the issues I had.
I will experiment with it this weekend and if it works, I'll release it. But there is a good chance it will fail again. Safari development is very buggy and developer-unfriendly :(. But there is a new Safari 16 incoming soon so that may help as well.

So, I've bought a bluetooth mouse and I've been playing with it for a few hours but it doesn't look good.
The main issue is the scrolling button, the middle mouse button is on iOS registered as left click.
This is the test result after pressing left, middle and right buttons:

So only left or right settings would work. But the right one shows context menu which can't be blocked on Safari, only in Firefox.

That leaves us with left button scrolling, but that one is somehow selecting all text all the time plus the scrolling jumps all over the place. I'll see if I can fix it.

I appreciate your efforts on this! Hopefully someday soon! On a related yet different note, connecting an iPad to a Mac via universal control results in the mousewheel scroll being inverted on the iPad. Is this something you suspect could be remedied via an App on the iPad or is it unlikely?
