How do I get rid of the awful reflected display on each dial, and just see the whole thumbnail.
Also, when you are searching for all the dial images please do not grab focus. That makes it impossible to use the browser.

I found the no reflection option. It should be ticked by default IMHO. But I can't make all the dials in every group smaller it seems.
The cloud dials are all very low resolution images, and are much too large.
Now that I turned off mirroring, all my dials have just 1/2 an image. How do I force a rescan?

Hello,
The reflection should only be a "backup" to fill the empty space and normally you shouldn't see it.
By default, when the thumbnail is created, it's size (height) is computed based your monitor resolution so that it fits perfectly when the browser window is maximized.

This may be an issue in these cases:

  • if you change group layout, for example by adding columns or removing rows, you can create empty space. If this happens, simply reload all thumbnails in the group (right click group name / Refresh images)
  • if you have super wide monitor, the computed thumbnail size may not fit if the browser window is not maximized - you can improve this in the Options page / Thumbnails / "Auto-reload target screen resolution" - change to manual and lower the "Height" value, for example to half.

Regarding the "when you are searching for all the dial images please do not grab focus", what exactly do you mean?

I am still getting images much smaller than the little windows. On phone too (android).

Hmm, that does look bad, and it looks like I've gave you wrong instructions, I'm so sorry!
Try to increase the "height" value in the Options page:

After that, reload your thumbnails again, they all need to be recreated (click main menu / Refresh images).

Note that android is a bit special currently so the layout there may suffer a bit (I need to upgrade that).
