I just stumbled upon JCloisterZone, after mainly playing in real life. I'm very much impressed!!! Especially after trying out all other available options in the past few weeks. You should have a Donation button somewhere...
After playing a few games and also checking out the legacy version out of curiosity, and looking occasionally for help on the program's features in the issues of the repo, I also found the already closed issue with similar title, where several really good ideas were put forward. Here I try to add my two cents a similar way.
Keyboard shortcut (several were available in the legacy version) would be nice for game-play, at least for the Skip and Confirm buttons. If technically not possible, that's fine, but hitting Enter on these (or ctrl+Enter for the paranoid types) could shorten the idle time in the game considerably.
Similar to the history, where the completed features are shown by hovering over points scored, hovering over any given meeple on the game field to highlight the uncompleted feature would be very helpful, especially for fields (either for the farmers or the sheperd). I suppose this feature would be annoying for some people due to flickering of the game field when moving the mouse pointer accross the screen, so a toggle in the options (or Game menu) would probably be necessary, too.
Projected points of the legacy version were a great feature. I hear many times from my wife how she doesn't understand that she won, when I could see the whole game that she is in the lead 😏
There is no points for the sheep on the final summary screen if I'm not mistaken, and in a game with several extensions, this could be a lot of points, leading to confusion (see the previous item 😄)
And finally, your robots were the most challenging adversaries in the legacy version, compared to whatever I tried so far. Is it impossible to bring them back?
Many thanks for your great work on this project!!!
