Is there any way to prevent one AtomEffect's 'setSelf' from triggering other atom effects?

Ideally there would be some kind of flag that allows an atomEffect to run only when state changes originate from the React and not due to other atomEffects calling 'setSelf'. I suppose you would need some way of knowing where exactly the 'set' originated from in order to accomplish this.
