In the 3.4.1 release it seems that crapp comes with @3.8 typescript version.

But actually it doesnt. The version is 3.7.2.

Did this also happen to someone else?

I just discovered this, too! I'm hoping someone is able to provide an answer to this. Maybe it's a case of the support being there but it's not being shipped with 3.8 just yet (just a guess).
