Issue
Bring more awareness to recycling. Educate people on what and how to recycle eg. What type of plastic can be recycled and the benefits of recycling eg. Recycled plastic cab be turned into many new things, allowing us to converse petroleum levels .

Everyone and the planet

What is currently being done to solve this problem?

Not too sure, need to do more research. Found few apis eg. Earth911:
Provides access to recycling information.
