Inkscape 0.92: does not create any file. Error "Can't Spawn"

Hi,
First of all, great plugin. I used it before!

Now update to ubuntu 20.04
Inkscape 0.92.
Running the plugin results in no file and no error message in the GUI.
On the console it says:
Can't Spawn!!! spawn returns: Failed to execute child process “” (No such file or directory)
Any ideas?
