I’m not working on Kitten. At some point, I just got completely stuck and needed to move on. It’s like I said in 2021 on the Gitter chat—I’m always experimenting with new language projects, and they may end up looking similar to Kitten or recombining somehow, but I can’t make any promises.

I’ll see about updating the README to explain the current status and known bugs. An early version of Mlatu was forked from Kitten. If you’re looking for a similar statically typed catlang that’s more actively developed, I can recommend Mirth.
