Difference between meter template and "custom" modbus #3252

Hi, I am encountering the following (weird) issue: if I am adding my meter using a template, then the data is retrieved correctly. If I am adding the same meter using a custom modbus definition, I am getting an i/o timeout. Does anyone have any idea how come? Here's my "custom" definition:
And here the one with the cfos template which uses the same 2 registers (8058 and 8062) for energy and power:

The issue is the "timeout" tag, which has to be specified in the format "s". So instead of |

timeout: 10000
, usingtimeout:10s
will work!
