I hope this message finds you well. I recently purchased a TI 1843 Radar and am working on integrating it into my project. I am specifically interested in capturing radar data similar to what is provided in your example dataset. However, I am encountering difficulties configuring the hardware triggering mechanism to achieve this.
Background:
I have successfully set up the radar and am able to acquire basic radar scans.
My goal is to synchronize the radar data acquisition with an external trigger signal to ensure that the captured data is time-aligned with other sensors in my system.
Question:
Hardware Triggering Configuration: Could you please provide detailed instructions or a reference guide on how to configure the TI 1843 Radar for hardware triggering?
Compatibility with External Triggers: Are there specific requirements for the external trigger signal (e.g., voltage level, pulse duration, etc.)?
Example Code or Schematics: If possible, could you share any example code snippets or schematics that demonstrate how to interface the radar's hardware trigger pin with an external trigger source?
Current Setup:
I am using the [TI 1843 Radar Evaluation Module] and have connected it to my development board.
I have reviewed the [datasheet] and [user guide], but the information on hardware triggering is limited or not entirely clear to me.
Expected Outcome:
I would like to be able to trigger the radar data acquisition precisely when an external event occurs, ensuring that the captured radar data is in sync with other sensor readings.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I appreciate any guidance you can provide in helping me achieve this.
