There are a couple of Beacon network endpoints that we need to implement in order to run the new Beacon hive tests following this spec change.

We need to expose the below

  • BeaconOptimisticStateRoot - returns the optimistic state root held by the Beacon Light Client as prefixed hex string
  • BeaconFinalizedStateRoot - returns the finalized state root held by the Beacon Light Client as a prefixed hex string
