With #5020 in commit e21f3b7 severe changes to the EK-Diffusion kernels with electrostatics were introduced, that did not trigger in CI. The only kernels affected are with electrostatics and thermalization.

A good starting point would be the pystencils-assignments, which should be compared before and after the PR.
